Welcome to the oldest and biggest of all Ethno music gatherings – Ethno Sweden! The first Ethno took place during the famous Falun Folkmusic Festival in Falun in 1990. Nowadays Ethno Sweden is organized by Folkmusikens hus in Rättvik and our 35th Ethno will take place 26 June – July 4th 2025.

Folkmusikens Hus in Rättvik, Dalarna Sweden is the host of Ethno. The camp takes place in the local school and the final concert in nearby Rättviksparken. Ethno Sweden also performs at Café Nyfiket and at the famous Bingsjö folk music festival.
This is the venue where the final concerts of Ethno Sweden take place. It is an old but charming outdoor concert venue, covered with a roof. It seats around 700 people and it is a part of an old traditional festival park with two outdoor and three indoor stages, restaurant and dance halls.
