Ethno Sweden 2009 took place in Rättvik, Sweden, hosted by Folkmusikens hus as part of the global Ethno network by Jeunesses Musicales International. Directed by Fredrik Caresten, the camp brought together young musicians aged 18–30 to share folk, traditional, and world music through peer-to-peer learning.
Participants taught one another tunes by ear in workshops and jam sessions, culminating in performances at the Bingsjö Folk Music Festival and Café Nyfiket. The 2009 edition was also documented in the television film Ethno – Världens folkmusikläger.
