Ethno Hungary started off in 2022 with wild success. The 3rd edition is coming up in 2024, and this year it’s only getting wilder!

An event that will make your world turn around… 25 participants, 4 artistic mentors, 1 love. Instant lifelong friendships!

Ethno-basics: everyone learns everyone else’s songs. Democratic, peer-to-peer teaching, forget about professors and sheet music. Don’t worry, you’ll learn how it’s done – it’s FUN!

Hungarian folk music and dance workshops, around-the-world intercultural activities, crazy free jam sessions, bicycle trip by the lake, with cold dip in the water – only for the brave-hearted! No time to be bored, we guarantee you that.

And the food…! oh the food will make your tastebuds dance with joy!

Rehearsal concert for the local public, final gig with Hungarian superband Góbé in the party heart of Budapest. An experience you will never forget!

Where:
Babel Camp artist residency in Balatonboglár, right by Lake Balaton in the countryside. The incredible Ethno-magic combined with the incomparable Babel-vibe. You’ll see!
