Ethno Croatia is a music camp for young musicians and music enthusiasts devoted to traditional and world music, belonging to a large network of camps as part of the Ethno Programme run by Jeunesses Musicales International. Participants spend a week learning, teaching, and sharing traditional and world music with each other, which they arrange with the help of two artistic mentors, and present their hard work at two amazing concerts in Grožnjan and Pazin.

Accommodation & workshops are stationed in the facilities of the International Cultural Centre of Jeunesses Musicales Croatia. JM Croatia provides group accommodation with shared female/male bedrooms, as well as the meals during your stay at the camp.

APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS

All musicians and music enthusiasts aged between 18 and 30, of all backgrounds, are welcome. Skill level is not taken into account for the selection process, whether you are a hobbyist, amateur, or professional musician. Applications for Ethno Croatia are open until the beginning of the camp. Considering participants’ travel planning, we aim to process applications within a month and a half. After you have been selected, you will be required to pay the participation fee through Mubazar or via bank transfer.

Participation fee: 330 EUR (until 05 June 2024)

Last-minute fee: 380 EUR (05 June – 05 July 2024)

Generosity fee (to fund the participation of one additional participant): 660 EUR
