Welcome to Ethno Wallonia-Brussels 2026 — a week of young musicians from across the world sharing their traditional music, taking part in workshops, collaborating and performing together in the heart of Belgium.
🌍 About
Dive into an immersive musical adventure rooted in cultural transmission. You’ll explore traditional repertoires from around the globe, share your own music and heritage, and collaborate with fellow musicians and experienced artistic mentors — all through ear-to-ear learning, long jams, and peer-to-peer teaching.
The Ethno Wallonia-Brussels camp takes place at the Val Notre-Dame Abbey, a stunning and inspiring setting in Wanze, Wallonia.

15 – 23 August 2026
Arrivals on Saturday 15 August from 2:00 PM onwards. Departures on Sunday 23 August no earlier than 2:00 PM (after the final concert at Les Polysons).

👤 Who can apply?
This camp is open to musicians of all traditions and instruments who are passionate about sharing their music and learning from others. Participants are expected to bring their own instrument(s).
The selection process aims to ensure cultural and musical diversity within the group.
