Ethno Malawi 2021

For ages: 15 – 30 YEARS

Ethno Malawi is held in a traditional setting, with the food prepared on site using local methods! 

The workshop groups bring together participants from different countries to learn and appreciate the diversity of cultural expression present at the Ethno. All countries teach their own songs and everyone is able to appreciate the different traditional music practices from around the world. 

Efforts are made to involve the local communities during the entire Ethno, who take part as participants in the music workshops, as well as in the public music concert that takes place on the final day.

PARTICIPATION FEE:

MWK 100,000 for participants from Malawi

MWK 150,000 (€150) for participants from the rest of the world
