Ethno USA 2021

The first-ever Ethno USA is to be launched in October 2021 in Asheville, North Carolina.

Held together with the amazing LEAF Festival, Ethno USA participants will experience the wonderful of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a diversity of musical traditions both from within the USA and from the world!

Participants will lodge & rehearse at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly, a serene mountain retreat across the valley from LEAF.  The week will be filled with sharing, learning, and lots of rehearsing, and include some educational outreach in the region.  Two MainStage performances frame the weekend, after which participants head into the ONEmic Studio at LEAF Global Arts to produce a full length album with LA producer Barry Goldberg.

Following the Ethno USA camp,  participants who are able will embark on the first Ethno USA tour!  This tour, approximately from October 20th-26th, is designed to let the country know what Ethno is all about, with stops at several renowned universities and a special concert in Minneapolis for our supporters at the Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies.
