Ethno Sweden 1991

Ethno Sweden 1991 is part of the global Ethno programme by Jeunesses Musicales International, bringing together young musicians aged 17–25 to share folk, world, and traditional music through peer-to-peer learning. As the second edition of the world’s first multicultural summer camp for young musicians, the event creates a vibrant space for cultural exchange, collaboration, and connection among participants from diverse backgrounds.

Centered on a peer-to-peer learning methodology, musicians teach one another traditional folk music from their respective cultures through workshops, jam sessions, and collaborative rehearsals. The programme culminates in public performances at the Falun Folkmusic Festival, celebrating the artistic and intercultural journey shared by the participants.
