Ethno Sweden 1993 took place in Falun, Sweden, as part of the Falun Folkmusic Festival and within the global Ethno network by Jeunesses Musicales International.
Continuing the pioneering peer-to-peer learning model introduced in 1990, the camp brought together young musicians aged 17–25 to teach one another traditional tunes by ear. Around 100 participants from 15–20 countries attended, with roughly half coming from outside Scandinavia, creating a strong environment for intercultural exchange through shared music-making.
