Ethno on the Road – Sweden 2006

Ethno on the Road – Sweden 2006 was the professional touring ensemble selected from the Ethno Sweden summer camp, part of the global network by Jeunesses Musicales International. A five-member international group transformed the camp’s repertoire into a refined concert programme under the direction of Nils Personne.

Touring across Sweden, including performances at Folkmusikens hus, the ensemble blended Nordic, Middle Eastern, West African, and Central Asian traditions. Alongside concerts, they led school workshops, sharing the Ethno method of learning music by ear and promoting intercultural dialogue.
