The Ethno Ireland team is in full swing, we’re ready for a second edition! This year we’ll be adventurous and we are preparing a camping edition in the hart of the Wicklow mountains, Roundwood village.
We rehearse, eat, spend our day in the parish hall of the village with our camp site set up in the back garden. All amenities, shops, pubs, takeaways etc. are within 2 min walk of our campsite and rehearsal hub. We plan an excursion to Glendalough monastic site and Dublin. We finish off with our final concert in Bray, a seaside town at the outskirts of Dublin, on August the 22nd.
Roundwood is a popular hiking village with 5 traditional pubs and plenty of opportunities to join a local trad session. The village is located on the popular and stunning hiking route The Wicklow Way | Homepage | Wicklow Way. Our team of volunteers can provide luggage/instrument pickups for those who wish to add a few days to their trip and are planning to hike this stunning route prior or after the camp. You can hike all the way from Dublin city center to Roundwood (and back)! Of course you can also reach us by bus.
Apply through Mubazar.com website. We have a limited number of 25 spots.
