Ethno Germany 2017

Nothing short of mind-blowing is what the 5th edition of Ethno Germany will be in 2017. A colourful bunch of wonderful people from different corners of the world bring their instruments and their hearts to share with everyone else.

The ruins of Castle Lichtenberg will provide yet again the rustic yet fascinating backdrop for days full of workshops and nights full of jam sessions. Local support has been overwhelming and it is apparent that Ethno Germany is slowly becoming a local institution.

Ethno Germany celebrates diversity, promotes exchange and encourages empathy and solidarity. A sentence written on the wall of one of last year’s concert venues sums the Ethno Spirit up: “The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens”.
