Ethno Flanders 2002

Ethno Flanders 2002 was the fourth edition of the Belgian camp, based in Gooik in the Pajottenland region and coordinated by Muziekmozaïek under the leadership of Ivo Lemahieu.

Bringing together young musicians from across Europe, the camp combined Flemish folk traditions with influences from Eastern Europe and the Nordic countries. Following the Ethno peer-to-peer model, participants taught each other melodies and rhythms by ear, strengthening intercultural exchange and helping establish the Ethno concept firmly within Western Europe.
