Ethno Cyprus 2006

Ethno Cyprus 2006 marked the second edition of the international youth music camp in Cyprus, continuing its role within the global Ethno network by Jeunesses Musicales International. The camp was organized by the Cultural Movement of Limassol Epilogi, also known as Jeunesses Musicales Cyprus.

Building on the previous year’s launch, the programme strengthened its focus on intercultural dialogue, highlighting shared musical roots between European and Arab traditions. Following the Ethno peer-to-peer learning model, young musicians taught each other traditional folk tunes by ear through intensive workshops, fostering collaboration, understanding, and connection across cultures.
