Get ready for a summer filled with music! The 18th edition of Ethno Croatia will happen from July 12th to 22nd 2023 in the beautiful town Grožnjan in the region Istria. A week of learning, sharing and enjoing traditional music will be followed by a tour (Ethno on the Road) consisting of four concerts across the country. Mentored by Cristóbal Araya Altamirano and Lucija Maroević.
Ethno Croatia is a program of Jeunesses Musicales Croatia for traditional/folk musicians aged 18-30. It is part a series of summer music camps by Jeunesses Musicales International with participants from around the globe who meet to teach each other, by ear, traditional folk songs from their cultures. Through a combination of workshops, jam sessions, and performances, musicians have the opportunity to learn a variety of musical styles. Ethno Croatia is a space for intercultural learning, friendship, and exchange.
