Ethno Croatia 2009 was an international youth music camp held in Grožnjan, Istria, known as the “City of Artists.” Organized by Jeunesses Musicales Croatia within the global Ethno network by Jeunesses Musicales International, the camp took place at the International Cultural Centre of Jeunesses Musicales Croatia.
Young musicians aged 18–30 gathered to share traditional songs through peer-to-peer learning, teaching each other by ear in workshops and jam sessions. The programme also featured Ethno on the Road Croatia, a touring ensemble that performed across the country, including a concert at the Travno Cultural Center in Zagreb as part of the International Folklore Fair, as well as appearances at local festivals in Grožnjan.
